ubuntu studio is the most recent release of the popular linux distribution, ubuntu, packed with a suite of the best open-source multimedia creation software. why do you care? well, you probably don't. but, it is cool to see that there are completely free alternatives the the insane prices of the mainstream OSes and multimedia creating software.
